We are a fellowship of women whose mission is to educate people of all ages that trees are renewable natural resources and wise forest management touches their everyday lives. We support our affiliated States and chapters in their goals of promoting the social, economic, and environmental benefits of sustainable forestry. Our efforts include advocating legislative initiatives that promote healthy forests as well as the creation of jobs.
Our youth presentations help students to learn the importance of our renewable resource and that a tree is just a blueprint of a miracle.
Our dedicated LC Chapter members will be teaching hands-on papermaking demonstrations at 4th Grade History Rendezvous, outside at Camp Wittman and Downtown Earth Day each year.
Plant the free seedling we give to the community every spring. We serve as volunteers to increase the knowledge about the benefits trees give us.
We are part of various organizations that further our ideas such as: Idaho Forest Products Commission, Sustainable Forestry Tour, local area Chamber of Commerce, the Wintergreen movement, and American Agri-women.
